SHARED MEMORIES
We invite you to join us on a family journey to Peru’s Sacred Valley—an unforgettable 9+ day adventure filled with exploration, connection, and discovery.
Traveling to new cultures with kids is an incredible gift: it opens their eyes to the beauty of the world, sparks curiosity, and creates memories that last a lifetime. Together, we’ll experience the wonder of Machu Picchu with a private guided tour, enjoy water sports and cultural immersion on Lake Piuray, hike to stunning Incan ruins and breathtaking vistas, and wander through vibrant Quechuan markets.
Along the way, we’ll share meaningful moments as a group while giving families space to explore and play. This is a chance to step into the magic of Peru with your children—discovering not just a new land, but new ways of seeing the world together.
We look forward to adventuring with you!

About the Location & Accommodation
The Sacred Valley of the Inca
Tucked into the Peruvian Andes, the Sacred Valley of the Incas is a stretch of magical little villages, ancient ruins and terraced farmland along the Urubamba River. Once the fertile and spiritual base of the Incan Empire, the region is dripping with ruins, natural wonders and living breathing indigenous cultures. Today, this blend of the ancient and the modern is as striking as the valley’s natural beauty.
We will be staying in the heart of the Sacred Valley in the quaint town of Calca. Conveniently located near Cusco and many of the sites we will be visiting, our home for a week includes a beautiful yoga studio, pool, and plenty of outdoor space to take in the scenery. Enjoy being surrounded by mountains and be amazed by the majestic Pitusiray standing over 16,000 feet altitude.

Patricia Cussen
Trip Leader
Hello! My name is Patricia Cussen, and I am proud to call Cusco, Peru my home. I have lived in Colorado for over 20 years, where I have built my life as a mother of two wonderful young boys, a bilingual kindergarten teacher, and now, a passionate travel host. As a teacher in a dual-language program, I have always believed that language, culture, diversity, and meaningful connections bring people together. These values inspire everything I do, both in the classroom and through my travel experiences. Cusco is more than a destination to me—it's my home, my heritage, and my heart. I love sharing the beauty of our traditions, history, breathtaking landscapes, and the warmth of our people with visitors from around the world. My goal is to create authentic, family-friendly experiences that go beyond sightseeing. Whether you're exploring ancient ruins, discovering local markets, tasting traditional cuisine, or connecting with local families, I want you to experience the true spirit of Cusco through the eyes of someone who lives and loves its culture every day. Travel is about creating memories, building friendships, and embracing new perspectives. It would be my honor to welcome you to Cusco and help you experience the adventure, beauty, and rich culture that make this place so extraordinary.

Jyoti Fontaine
RasVida Founder
Hi, I'm Jyoti. After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2018, I stopped waiting for "someday" and began building a life centered around the things that matter most: meaningful experiences, authentic connection, personal growth, and adventure. That's what inspired me to create RasVida. What started as a yoga retreat company has grown into a mindful group travel business that brings together culture, creativity, exploration, and community in some of the world's most beautiful places. As a yoga teacher and lifelong traveler, I've seen firsthand how stepping away from our routines can help us reconnect with ourselves, gain fresh perspective, and return home feeling more inspired and alive. My hope is that every RasVida experience gives you the space to do exactly that.
